Work History

General Manager/ Vice President

Singleton Ranches
12.1992 - 12.2025

I began managing the Bojax Ranch northeast of Roswell, New Mexico when Singletons purchased it in 1992. I had been managing this ranch for 14 years when in 2006 they added the Agua Verde and Lobo Ranches to my management duties. At that point, I had 600,000 acres under my management, as well as two managers and 14 camp men and their families. I was responsible for over half of the Singleton operation which holds over 9,000 cows, 1,200 bulls and upwards of 15,000 stocker yearlings.

In 2018, I was promoted to Vice President, and I was asked to take over the family's three California ranches, which encompassed 100,000 acres. This was in addition to my current duties. I oversaw the California ranches until they sold December 2024. Upon the sale of Singleton Ranches, the new owner did not advance my position forward.

I had been in charge of marketing and purchasing all classes of livestock including calves, bulls, stockers and replacements. I oversaw the state land and BLM leases and had a voice in all the negotiations concerning wind energy, oil production, and gravel sales.

I also facilitated for funds to be distributed to various local entities and organizations such as 4-H, FFA, Little League, etc. through the Singleton Ranch Foundation.
