- Responsible for managing Roadnet routing database, to efficiently route trucks and maintain customer information such as delivery address, customer notes, alarm codes, and lock box codes
- Schedule an average of 425 routes and 319,000 cases per week with vehicles, ranging from tractor trailers, straight trucks and vans to customers throughout NC and SC. All routes must be scheduled with a 93% ontime.
- Confirm that routes comply with all DOT regulations of gross weight and driver’s hours of service and that all routes meet transportation goals
- Work with Supply Chain department, on scheduling back hauls, for incoming products needed for deliveries
- Meet weekly with Sales Management, on adding new customers to existing routes, to ensure deliveries are made during the requested delivery windows
- Coordinate with sales department on off scheduled deliveries, for customers with special events and back ordered items
- Maintain Sysco trailer loaner program, for customers that are in need of a refrigerated trailer, for special events. Review all trailer lease forms and ensure that customers meet all Sysco insurance requirements.
