  • Responsible for the startup of a small research lab in Berkeley for Calypte Biomedical which expanded to a new development and manufacturing site in Alameda.
  • Responsible for the buildout of a R&D campus for Coulter Pharmaceutical in SSF for the research and development of new drug. Included the transfer of new product to CMO.
  • Responsible for the expansion of manufacturing operations at Oceanside, San Dimas and Cork Ireland for Gilead Sciences. This includes additional land purchase and design and construction of new facilities.
  • Introduced a corporate wide sustainability program for reducing and eliminating solid waste to landfills including used building materials and establishing a CDP plan.
  • Team member for the evaluation and implementation of JD Edwards ERP from SAP. Implemented new system for all Gilead locations.
  • Responsible for lab expansion for development and ultimately manufacturing of API at Theravance Biopharma in SSF. This included FDA inspection and licensing.
  • Team lead for establishing strategic planning group for evaluating long term site ops.
  • As a consultant worked closely with Dren Bio to expand R&D operations from Foster City to San Carlos. This included establishing facilities ops, materials management, IT helpdesk, training, and QA/QC guidance.
  • Oversaw the closure and decommissioning of Dren’s building in Foster City.
