- Executed and enhanced the KIPP Texas diversity, equity and inclusion strategic plan resulting in an average 4% increase in sense of belonging statewide
- Used data to help inform, develop, progress monitor, and demonstrate progress toward KIPP Texas’ EDIB progress indicators
- Partnered with cross-functional leaders to progress monitor initiatives to ensure that EDIB is embedded in policies, practices, procedures, and external/internal communications.Supported a consulting and training approach to build faculty/staff EDIB capacity, including instructor-led/asynchronous professional development at on boarding and throughout the academic year
Elevated voices to lead EDIB work via platforms such as the Regional Equity Fellows, campus based student led groups and ERGs - Supported regional superintendents and other KIPP Texas leaders through EDIB consultancies and office hours to help build and monitor organizational structures to ensure that KIPP Texas is accountable to its EDIB commitment and vision
- Partnered with teachers and teams from across academic departments to provide curricular/content support for core content classes and student advisories
- Helped produce district wide education programming events such as Culture Connections and other activities designed to enhance belonging and celebrate community
- Built relationships with external stakeholders and community organizations to expand program capacity and offer additional resources to staff/students/families
