I have been in the industry for 13 years now and I have always done unit work. I am good with meeting all number exceptions related to the job as well as working with lineman of all personalities in order to complete jobs safely and efficiently. I take a lot of pride in my work, with each and every position I have ever held. I like to get out and be with the men in the field so they all know and experience who they work for. By doing this I am able to address any issues or concerns that the men may have, compliment work and take note of good employees as well as coach them with any issues they may have or be stuck on.
I'm a forman here and we reconduct for Duke Energy. All our work has completion dates and I've never had any issues meeting my completion date. That credit goes to having great help not me. I'm a firm believer in finding good lineman and eager apprentices and taking care of them and developing them into efficient linemen.
I was a forman here as well. we also had completion dates and never had any issues making the deadlines.
I was a reconducting forman for this company for 2 years and a General Forman for 2 years as well. I'm very good with numbers and leading men. In the time I was a General forman for this company I was able to pull their profit margins from 10% to a consistent 40% profit margin. Unfortunately we were all laid off b/c of budget issues. I've learned over the years to treat men the way they want to be treated which is with respect. When I took this job, I had to humble myself and consider that all men are different and that not everyone responds the same way. Some could just be simply told what to do and that some needed it to be their idea no matter what. Also some men just need to be lead b/c they're just unsure or just lack in leadership skills. Those are just a couple of examples of what I have dealt with and have had success in working with.
