15 people attended the first worship when I began to serve as the newly arrived pastor. 5 of the people were my family. My wife Laurie, our early elementary daughter and son, Emily and Jared, along with our infant daughter, Sarah. By God's vast grace the restart of a church plant slowly grew. The first building was a 1,000 square feet double wide trailer. Two years later another 1,000 square feet addition was added. With more people, many with young and teen children coming we added on an 8,000 square feet addition in 1984.

My wife began a preschool ministry in 1991. The church ministry and the preschool ministry grew together. In 1998 a parochial school ministry began with a kindergarten class. Each year the next grade was added up to eighth grade.

A larger facility was needed for the church and school. In 2002 a new church and classrooms was constructed following with additions in 2006 and 2010.

I have had the wonder of serving as the sole pastor of New Hope ministries through 2022.
