My name is Jeff Rudison III. I was named after my father who was also named after his. The reason why I wake up every morning is because I have too, in order to be the person, I want to be. What I need to be; is successful and a provider to help my family and myself, to live comfortably but what holds me back is my laziness and procrastination. One of my goals is to become a realtor. What motivates me to become a realtor is my mom because she’s a real estate agent herself and all the effort she puts in inspires me to become one myself. After high school I want to go to college for higher education. I’ve been to some college prep programs over my school year to gain experience. The major I was interested in is Engineering because of the hands-on experience and growing up I had similar experiences. Growing up I used to help grandpa because he was an engineer. When he passed away it hurt me. Even thought I was young I can still vividly remember old memories of him and all the stories people told me about him it felt like I was there, he was an important role model in my life even though he was sick he still took care of everyone he was the original man of the house and enjoyed watching the things he do around the house I’ve got some of my skills from him, I can’t remember if it was before or after he passed but my mom, sister, grandma and I moved to another house we owned, and my uncle stayed back at the old house, my parents split so I had to become the man of the house there an abundance of things I had to do and learn around the house Yard care included. Along the way I picked up engineering skills and did an engineering pathway. More skills I’ve picked up Adaptability, gain better control of my time management, communication skills, productive, and creativity. My goal matters to me to make myself proud but mostly the people around me and my desire to be successful. Personally, I think I represent altruism, altruism is the belief in or practice of and selfless concern for the well-being of others, and unlike others I care about what people think of me, so I want to leave a good impression. I've been struggling debating if I want to be an engineer or realtor and I came to the conclusion that I’ll do both engineering and realtor as a side hustle/second job. college is going to help me get there with gained experience, and knowledge on engineering, A good impression for an engineering job, bachelor's degree, majors, new skills, professional licensure, etc. For realtor provides essential foundational knowledge in finance, economics, and law, develops key skills like communication and critical thinking, and offers valuable opportunities. That is my plan and in 3-5 years I see myself graduating college with my bachelor's degree, professional engineering and real estate licenses.
