I am a seasoned and innovative helicopter pilot with 625+ hours of flight experience, including 100+ hours of cross-country flights and 540 flight hours as pilot in command. Recognized for building efficient flight plans that prioritize safety and on-time arrivals and departures, I have a verifiable history of contributing directly to organizational success throughout my career. Professional focal points include strategic planning, decision making, in-flight communications, GPS and navigational tools, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and operations management. Delivering superior performance in these areas requires utilization of effective communication and interpersonal skills, as well as technical acumen, creative problem solving, time management, resource management, and attention to detail.
In my current role as a tour pilot with Keys Helicopter Tours, I create flight plans and perform comprehensive pre-flight checklists to ensure instrument functionality and address potential safety issues. I also monitor in-flight data and keep current on weather conditions and airspace restrictions to maximize safety and efficiency. In addition, I communicate with air traffic control and cross-functional personnel to facilitate smooth flight operations and positive customer experiences.
Colleagues describe me as a progressive, driven, down-to-earth helicopter pilot who thrives in dynamic, diverse settings that value honesty, integrity, punctuality, and teamwork.
