Serves as an assistant to the Resident Construction Engineer performing project management and project administration duties over multiple roadway and bridge construction projects. Projects include new location, widening, corridor improvement, intersection improvements, resurfacing, rehabilitation, and bridge replacements. Generates change orders, monthly pay estimates, conducts pre-construction conferences, represents the Department in county transportation meetings and in county public relation meetings.

Served as a project field manager over multiple roadway and bridge construction projects for the Department. Supervised civil engineering inspectors to ensure that required sampling, testing and inspection services were being performed in accordance with plans, special provisions, supplemental specifications and standard specifications. Reviewed daily work reports and test reports to ensure the accuracy of project documentation

Served as chief inspector performing advanced level technical work to support engineers in functional areas of bridge and roadway construction to include materials sampling, inspection and testing. Performed weekly traffic control and erosion control inspections, conducted independent inspections and supervised lower-level inspectors to ensure compliance with project requirements. Entered daily work reports and generated sampling and testing reports for various field construction materials.

Served as senior inspector performing advanced level technical work to support engineers in functional areas of bridge and roadway construction to include materials sampling, inspection and testing. Performed weekly traffic control and erosion control inspections, conducted independent inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements. Entered daily work reports and generated sampling and testing reports for various field construction materials.
