Jeff Thibodeau

Jeff Thibodeau has over 25 years of professional leadership experience in the private, non-profit and municipal sectors and possesses specific skills in leadership, project/budget/personnel management, natural resource protection, land acquisition and stewardship, site planning, conservation, permitting, natural resource management, ecological restoration, landscape architecture, plant specification, design detailing, open space and recreation planning, communications, education, outreach, fundraising, client/donor relations, administrative operations, written and verbal communication, public presentation, design and drawing, plan preparation and analysis, project management, mentoring, volunteer/intern coordination, employee supervision, strategic planning, and facilitation of cooperative teamwork. He has managed public and private projects throughout the region and country including the design, permitting, funding and development of ecologically and economically sustainable projects. Jeff has extensive experience in working with Boards/commissions, landowners, stakeholders, government officials, permitting authorities, donors, and clients and has shepherded numerous projects through design, permitting and implementation phases. Jeff has acted in a Director's role on multiple occasions including employment in the following capacities: Principal Town Planner, Town of Chatham; Executive Director, Orenda Wildlife Land Trust Inc.; Land Acquisition and Stewardship Specialist, Brewster Conservation Trust; Director of Land Protection, The Compact of Cape Cod Conservation Trusts, Inc.; Director of the 200 Coalition Project, the Town of Orleans and the Orleans Conservation Trust; Town Planner, Town of Eastham; Conservation Agent, Town of Eastham; President/CEO, Helios Land Design, LLC; Principal, Centerline Studios Inc.; Director of Cape Cod Office/Design Associate, Gregory Lombardi Design Inc. He has also consulted to most Cape Cod land trusts and municipalities, has taught in numerous venues and has authored hundreds of reports on resource management and protection.
