Jeff Vinci

A forty-five year old, seasoned, Senior Pastor with over 22 years of ministry experience who is pursuing God's call to minister the Word and serve people. Focused on Biblical expository preaching/teaching with an emphasis on making it clear and relatable in order to equip God's people with the necessary tools for successful Christian lives. Committed to establishing a clear vision for the church as a whole and its individual members, empowering them to utilize their spiritual gifts for the cause of Christ. Leading the church to make a Gospel impact both locally and globally in obedience to the Great Commission.

I grew up in a Christian home and a Baptist church all my life. I received Christ as my savior at the age of nine and was baptized shortly thereafter. I went away to college for mechanical engineering after high school, but after the first year of study, God changed all my plans, and called me into the ministry. At first I did not want to answer the call, but over time I realized I could not be satisfied doing anything else except Gods will. I went to Providence Baptist College in Elgin Illinois, and graduated with a B.S. in Pastoral Theology. The summer after graduation, I was married to my beautiful wife Jenn who I met in college, and started working as an assistant Pastor at my home church. My pastor was my hero, and I planned on serving with him and helping him build the church together. I was crushed when one Wednesday night he stood up and announced he was no longer qualified to pastor. For the next nine months, I helped fill the pulpit while we looked for a new pastor. I stayed on staff for three more years, before God moved us to New Jersey. I helped my father in law, Pastor Jim Fulleylove, at Mays Landing Baptist Church for one year, until the next summer, the Lord lead us to Lighthouse Baptist Church in Lehighton Pennsylvania. We served there for five years until May of 2013. In September of 2013 I answered the call to become the Senior Pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Montgomery New York where we currently serve. My wife and I have been blessed with four children: Jayni (18), Ava (17), Clark (15) and Ripley (5). God has taught us many things at each place he has brought us to, and I believe He has been preparing us to serve Him in an even greater capacity. He has placed in me an overwhelming desire to teach/preach the Word, and minister to Gods people. We are excited to see what He has in store for the future.
