Research and evaluation of industry leading XR hardware and software for rapid visualization of design, engineering and manufacturing data.
Collaborated with Siemens to enhance a Teamcenter virtual reality module for introduction into core design and engineering processes.
Created and maintained environment scene maps using photogrammetry, for use in the virtual reality application. These enabled the user to toggle between different scenes within the application, creating a more realistic visual experience and expanding the potential use within the company.
Marketed the application to the engineering teams using internal social media, newsletters, on-site demonstrations and word of mouth.
Constructed and managed an on-site virtual reality lab early in the deployment phase for exploring new use cases and training current user base.
Configured and deployed six mobile engineering virtual reality stations, which gave teams the ability to immerse and collaborate in real time, from anywhere within Ford’s Product Development Center.
