Electrician/Plumbing

• Install, repair, electrical circuitry for residential and business depending on scope of job
• Assist master electrician with larger scope projects
• Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
• Inspect, diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the fault in the electrical system and correct the problem and communicate with customers
• Remove and install breaker panels
• Inspect and replace receptacles depending on safety condition
• Update light fixtures to LED
• Perform commercial and residential preventative maintenance
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside walls or other concealed areas, underground and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes
• Fasten metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets
• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit, service cables and moving and lifting heavy objects
• 24/7 on-call for emergencies/safety hazards
• Responsible for assisting plumbers/contractors
• Rough in plumbing systems
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
• Install other plumbing equipment, such as sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters
• Have limited experience in servicing pneumatic systems.
• Experience in using the following equipment: motorized trenchers, genie lifts. forklifts, etc.

• Duties included support of Department of Defense's capability to move passengers and air cargo worldwide.
