I am currently working as a routing manager for Clean Earth. Each week I upload spreadsheets of customers into Descartes software used for real time routing for in-field techs to use via Mobile Link Atlas applications to service for the purpose of collecting their hazardous waste. I manage all compliance and due dates for customers to meet customers' needs and off cycle requests. I work closely with customer service to ensure all customers needs are met and to schedule any off cycle or emergency service requests. I also work very closely with operations including field service managers, facility managers, dispatchers, and even drivers in the field, to ensure all customers' needs are met and service is performed within outlined due dates. I monitor routes in real time to make sure techs are sticking to the schedule created and if not relay to their manager as to why they have deviated and make sure there is accountability at all levels. I am proficient in microsoft excel, word, teams, and outlook. I also am proficient in company instruments such as Preview, Orbit/SPAK, Descartes/Atlas, and Sharepoint. In this position I am almost a "middleman" if you will for various departments and work with many different levels of employees daily.
I drove a Class B truck to pick up, sort and transport hazardous
waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and
regulations from retail stores and medical offices. I managed the routing of stops to ensure that compliance due dates were met along with route efficiency. I classified, segregated, and inventoried hazardous waste in storage for shipment, conducted lab pack operations, pack small laboratory containers of chemical waste into larger containers for shipment. I resolved over packing of leaking containers in non-DOT shippable condition. I also performed pharmacy and DEA control services at retail pharmacies. I used a laptop to create Hazardous Waste Manifests and shipping papers, and all labels on site. I scheduled appointments for customer services, and appointments for offloading waste and resupplying vehicle. I performed pre and post trip inspections of company vehicle and scheduled service
appointments for company vehicle as needed.
I worked as a Lead Environmental Technician at various Household Hazardous Waste collection facilities. I unloaded cars, sorted household hazardous waste, labpacked, bulked fuels, labeled drums and boxes, loaded and unloaded shipments, performed customer surveys. I also attended out of town events occasionally, where I set up everything needed to perform a one day collection hot zone area, then tear it all down at the end of the day. I also assisted a StrongPak technician with his route, which included picking up retail hazardous waste, sorting and consolidating, labeling drums and boxes for shipment and organizing supplies. I was also a site supervisor for a HHW facility in Vacaville, CA where I was responsible for conducting pre work safety meetings, assigning work to company employees and temp workers, scheduling lunch breaks, inventorying waste and supplies, scheduling waste pickups and supply deliveries off site, and maintaining site compliance with local and feral regulations. During this time I also worked at the main local facility in Rancho Cordova. I worked in the 10 day waste storage area offloading and loading inbound and outbound trailers; the paintcare shop where we would unpack CYBs of paintcare from customers and repack according to DOT and hazclass; and the main yard itself, cleaning, pulling supply orders, inventorying supplies, staging supplies, and general cleaning.
I worked in a machine shop that mostly used CNC machines. I operated various Okuma Lathes & Matsurra horizontal pallet machines. I read part blueprints to check parts with z-cals, calipers, micrometers, thread gages, and numerous other types of mics. Before checking parts I deburr, chase threads, sand if necessary. I also used Twisters to polish parts, a tumbler to deburr. I can operate a belt sander, greymill, scotchbrite wheel, and various other power tools used in the shop. I can call up tools and change tools or inserts if necessary and re-measure the appropriate tool. I can also adjust offsets as necessary.
I worked as a temp employee in the machine shop for TENCATE Advanced Composites. I ran programs for second operations machining processes on Cincinatti and Haas CNCs. I set up and indicated fixtures for various tooling and machining projects and ran the programs on Okuma CNCs. I have also set up and indicated fixtures and tools, & ran second op programs on a Onsrud 5th Axis table router. I have used micrometers, depth finders, calipers, band saws, and grinding wheels. I also have completed small tasks on Bridgeport mills and lathes.
