  • Hired in as Engineering Manager. In 2024, I stepped down as Manager to take one of the two new Coordinator positions.
  • Manage 4 Manufacturing Engineers
  • Manage the capital budget of $4 to 5M a year and budget planning for the next running 5 year.
  • Manage the semiannual plant shutdowns. Make sure all projects are pre planned and finishing on time.
  • Designed several new automation cells.

  • Promoted multiple times from Manufacturing Engineer, Lead Engineer, to Engineering Manager, there my duties include. Managing 10 engineers, 27 maintenance plus supervisor, 32 people in the die shop plus supervisor, as well as 4 people in the stock room.
  • Managed 4 major repairs. A broken connecting rod in a 2000-ton press, replaced two main connecting rod bushings in a 2200-ton press, replaced a 1600 kva transformer on an induction heater, and a set of flywheel bearings on a 2500-ton press.
  • Lead several improvement teams.
  • Help the Plant Manager keep the forge running as smooth as possible.

  • Duties include maintaining the quality of the product and the welding fixtures. Including 2 fully automated robotic weld cells. My duties also included overseeing Kaizen, Poka-yoke and new equipment installations in my line.
  • Installed a point of use smoke filtration system for the hand welders to improve air quality for the associates.
  • Installed an inline probing system to our CNC milling centers on the rail line to improve productivity of the machining by 20%.

  • Promoted multiple times from maintenance personnel to Cost Estimator in Die Engineering to Junior Project Engineer to Project Engineer. Reduce the repair cost to a minimum and find better suppliers and keep repair duties in-house when possible. Improve the OEMs designs to make the equipment run faster and more reliable.
  • Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to equipment maintenance crew. Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using drafting tools or computer-assisted design (CAD) or drafting equipment and software. Familiar with cooling conveyors, transfer conveyors, zee conveyors, and vibratory conveyors. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports. Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedure, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information. Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost and maintenance requirements of designs or applications. Perform personnel functions such as supervising contractors and design of evaluation programs.
  • Managed several Forge press installation. Ranging from 1600 ton to 4000 tons presses.
  • Overseen most all the press rebuilds.
  • Installed several shears. Both mechanical and hydraulic.
  • Designed many conveyance systems.
  • Automated several coin presses.
  • Reverse engineered most of the forge hammers spare parts for manufacturing.
