• My high school track team went to state for the 4x4 and we got 3rd place. We were predicted to win but we had an off night. We trained every single day after school no matter the weather. This moment taught me that you can push yourself to a limit you wouldn't believe can be reachable. Also, you can fall short of a goal and its all in how you get back up and keep pushing. There are no limits.
• I have worked my way up in management at Big Lots since my hire date in 2019. I started as a dock to stock manager. It was my first job in retail . I was focused on the opertion and drive of metrics. Really diving into the overall goals and productivity of the store and associates. My store manager promoted me to be his assistant manager. After that i was side by side with a very seasoned store manager that coached and developed me into the leader I am today. As soon as I was offered my own store in Lufkin, TX, I accepted the position. I have had my own store for about a year and a half and retail is my drive and passion.
• I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends. I own 3 pets. A dog, cat, and a chinchilla. They keep me very busy outside of work.I enjoy working out, playing sports, and eating different kinds of food. Overall, I love to be a leader and create a positive culture.
