  • I use 8D’s, Three Legged 5 Whys, and Cause and Effect Diagrams to get to root cause and to solve customer quality and manufacturing problems
  • I oversee all aspects of quality department at New Hampton, Iowa, plant and supervise nine QA Techs
  • TriMark sells products to John Deere, Caterpillar, CNH, AGCO, and several other smaller companies
  • Work with supplier engineers at all locations to get to root cause and close all quality rejection reports
  • Reduced total CAT NCMs from 96 in 2019 to 36 in 2022
  • Pride in closing customer rejections to eliminate them from happening again
  • TriMark has seen only three (3) repeat rejections in time leading quality
  • Scrap has been reduced 1.9%; PPM has been reduced from 200 to 50 on Key Accounts and from 400 to 100 on all other accounts while I have managed quality at TriMark.

  • Closed and reduced the Corrective Actions from 75 to 25 at both locations in 5 months
  • Took over Centro’s Gravimetric Testing Procedure and updated it to pass the John Deere Cleanliness Standard on DEF tanks
  • Was Focused Quality Engineer for all of Centro’s Caterpillar products and handled 100% of all Quality Issues from CAT.

  • As an employee of Northwest Iowa Community College
  • I was a SkillsUSA/VICA Advisor for all first and second year MET students. My students had great success in three contests every year, Mechanical Drafting, Automated Manufacturing, and Robotics and Automation Competitions. As an employee of Northwest Iowa Community College, I was a member of the local SME Chapter where I held several offices in the organization. I was Bulletin Editor, Retention, Recruitment, Certification chairperson, and Web Master. I was a member of the Sheldon Fire Department for 10 years. I was the Vice-Chair of the Siouxland Lean Consortium (SLC), my duties include, keeping our web page up to date, organizing and sending out notifications to SLC events and monthly meetings, and working on our annual Lean conference.
