An armed subject entered the Lobby of the Marquette Police Department with a loaded pistol. After over an hour and a half of negotiation, the conversation collapsed and the subject refused to comply further. The subject provided an opportunity to be disarmed and I was able to leave the safety of the Police Department and contact the subject within the Main Lobby. I disarmed the subject by utilizing trained tactics and he was taken into custody without further issue and with only very minor injuries. The subject was taken to a local hospital for mental health treatment.
