  • I machined architectural millwork and reproduction parts to drawing specifications for residential and corporate clientele.
  • I also programmed and operated an SCM 3 axis cnc using AutoCad to create geometry and AlphaCam to generate programs.
  • I designed and created fixturing for irregularly shaped parts to ensure safe and effective machining.
  • I ran simulations to foresee machining issues prior to cutting actual product.
  • I conducted tests, and inspected finished products to verify tolerances and finish.
  • I performed preventative maintenance and necessary troubleshooting and repairs on both cnc machines.
  • I became forklift certified to move sheet stock into place for machining.

CNC Programmer/Operator

Goodman Millwork
10.2017 - 09.2020
  • While at Goodman, I programmed and operated a Biesse Rover B pod and rail and spoil board cnc, using AutoCad as a drawing software and Biesseworks to generate program code.
  • I produced a variety of architectural millwork elements, including passage doors, windows, jambs, casings, moldings, and custom cabinet parts.
  • I created fixtures and machining strategies to produce parts safely and effectively.
  • I developed strategies and fixturing to create window sash mullions, for both true divided light and simulated divided light sashes on the cnc
  • I performed all preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to the cnc and pumps.
  • I often milled rough lumber and glued up blanks to be machined.
  • I calculated material take-offs and documented material used for inventory purposes.

CNC Programmer/Operator

Wall Goldfinger
07.2003 - 06.2017
  • I programmed and operated Onsrud Panel Pro and S-Series cnc machines, using AutoCad to create geometry and Router-Cim to create programs.
  • I produced machining and assembly strategies with project management and department heads to plan and facilitate production of high end corporate furniture, including conference tables, lecterns, and credenzas.
  • I created and edited program information sheets for each program that I wrote to document the tooling, cut order, and machining style used to create the parts in that program.
  • I checked machining for size, fit, and finish, and made necessary adjustments.
  • I performed all preventative maintenance and made necessary repairs to cnc machines and vacuum pumps.
  • I worked toward continuous improvement in product and process as a member of the production team.

Woodworking Job Captain

Wall Goldfinger
12.1998 - 07.2003
  • I worked with designers, department heads, and project managers to create production strategies to construct high end corporate furniture.

  • I prepared completed projects for finish.
  • I installed subcontracted materials, including metal inlays, steel support frames, glass and stone tops, microphones, speakers, and monitor lifts into finished furniture.
  • I wrote detailed assembly instructions for use on the job site for installers and project managers.
  • I re-assembled finished furniture, preparing it for shipping and final installation.
