Jeffrey Horvath

I am an accounting major with strong work skills and ethics. I was employed by the Internal Revenue Service as a revenue agent for thirty six years until my retirement in 2019. In addition to examining tax returns for individuals, partnerships and corporations, I was in management responsible for evaluations, reports, budgets and employees. I received instructor training and taught many tax law classes and continuing professional education classes. I have received several awards for my continuing superior performance.

I have spent the last several years volunteering for various agencies. I volunteered as a GED instructor for CVCC of which most of that time was at AXCI in Taylorsville, NC. I also volunteer at Foothills Veterans Helping Veterans, Carolina Caring (hospice) Catawba County Veterans Service Office and Catawba County Veterans Treatment Court.

I have a variety of interest and work well as a team member and team leader.
