  • Manage day to day operations for Highgate Senior Living Bellingham with over 60 employees and is responsible for meeting financial objectives for the community as defined by Annual Operating and Capital Budgets. Ensuring the business achieves sustainable, year over year Net Operating Income Growth, through revenue generation, labor management, and effective expense management. Maintained occupancy at 95% forgoing on 5 years.
  • As Executive Director, I am responsible to ensure that the Community is always following state specific licensing regulations. Making sure applicable Department Heads are also trained in the Department specific regulations. I lead my community thru any licensing surveys and investigations, as well as provide necessary follow up for the Community resulting from a licensing personnel visit.
  • Responsible for implementing Highgate culture standards throughout the Community. Making certain that the Department Heads are hiring the right people, by utilizing solid recruitment strategies, and providing complete training experiences for each newly hired team member.
  • Responsible for following established Highgate protocols concerning Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Human resources, Labor Management, and Accounting Standards. Monitoring overtime and labor, reconciliation of expenses (both invoicing and p-cards) and ensuring billing is accurate.
  • Responsible for monitoring workers compensation cases tightly to ensure any injured team members are helped to return to full duty work int he appropriate manner.
  • Responsible for working collaboratively with Director of Sales to ensure appropriate market position, pricing marketing and sales strategies are met. Meet weekly with CRC to help with tours and move ins as needed. Conduct daily and weekly follow up call to prospective residents. Conduct at least two EBD’s a week.
