  • With a high turnover in sales and no culture to speak of, I had to quickly gain rapport and trust with our employees.
  • I immediately overhauled the CRM processes while providing ongoing training in order to increase internet lead closure with strong phone and floor results as well.
  • We established goals that were specific and measurable.
  • Our service department had declining retention along with poor CSI. Two things that go hand in hand.
  • We installed new processes including video MPI and strong tablet use on the drive by advisors.
  • In both Variable and Fixed, teaming with department managers, we created processes that we measured constantly and coached as required.

With our Toyota dealership and a separate rooftop selling only preowned, we regularly averaged 125-140 new and 225-250 used cars per month
  • Because of the volume being achieved I have worked to ensure that we have the correct people and processes in place
  • Through process inspection and audits, I have been able to identify 'pinch points' leading to process changes
  • The Toyota dealership has won President's Award seventeen years in a row

  • As the Auto Plex General Manager my leadership encompasses multiple brands
  • Honda, Acura, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, and Cadillac
  • My role requires directing and supervising the daily operations of the stores
  • The Kendall Auto Plex is multi-faceted as it incorporates multiple brands with a large campus
  • Under my direction we were able to streamline key operational aspects within the Auto Plex
  • We implemented an Auto Plex Pre-Owned Director in order to achieve our goal of ensuring used car acquisition, reconditioning, marketing, and display were uniform among the stores
  • We took the same template and applied it to our Fixed Operations Director
  • This role ensures that processes are duplicated for each Service and Parts operation
  • With this change we are able to measure key metrics within the specific brand platform
  • From Variable Operations to Fixed Operations my role requires the ability to multitask and prioritize objectives and tasks
  • My multi brand responsibilities require accurate knowledge of dealer requirements, brand compliance, and executive communication with each brand

  • I was chosen for this dealership because of my people building skills and process driven thinking
  • We have moved from the rebuilding phase to driving excellence and honing processes and people in order to drive further profitability
  • With previous high turnover and decreasing profitability, my responsibilities at this store have entailed taking an inventory of our greatest asset, people
  • Determining assets and liabilities with our staff and making appropriate changes to better serve our customer and in the end, dealership health
  • Daily focus on our CRM has been a major undertaking to make sure staff are fully aware of the expectations in regards our key CRM metrics and drivers

  • As General Manager of Audi Chandler my responsibilities are broad
  • I have a hand in all departments both Variable and Fixed
  • I regularly examine all the financial aspects of the dealership through the use of the financial statement and other internal reports
  • My experience with the Penske Automotive Group has given me a firm working knowledge of the corporate environment
  • I have worked in all departments to develop processes that are customer centered, thereby maintaining strong SSI and CSI scores
  • I oversee and organize all marketing for the dealership with the assistance of our creative agency, they in turn work closely with Audi to maintain brand compliance
  • I have also worked closely with Audi to increase new vehicle sales and market share thus maximizing future vehicle allocations
  • In my tenure as GM we have steadily increased market share, set new sales records, and set new standards in the arena of SSI and CSI
  • By developing strong people and processes I have been able to ensure that all employees share the same vision thus creating an environment that is conducive to strong sales and customer satisfaction
  • Audi Chandler was awarded with Audi's top recognition, Audi Magna Society, consecutively in 2012 and 2013

  • My role as Used Car Director at Tempe Honda provided me with invaluable experience that I still draw on to this day
  • As Used Car Director, my responsibilities encompassed all areas of the department
  • While still maintaining an active role on the sales desk, I took steps to ensure that we maintained the used car volume and gross set forth in the Penske Automotive Group annual budget
  • Overseeing the used car department at a store of this size was similar in many ways to running a medium size dealership
  • With an average of 150 used cars deals per month, I oversaw a sales staff of approximately 15 individuals, plus a two person internet department, a sub-prime department, and 2 financial services consultants
  • With used cars playing such a key role in the overall health of the dealership, I took my responsibilities very seriously
  • I was very hands on when it came to overseeing all the reconditioning of trades and purchased vehicles
  • Maintaining the motto of 'retail first' enabled us to minimize our wholesale transactions and maximize retail sales
  • I utilized all sources to acquire pre-owned vehicles
  • I attended live auctions and also took advantage of on-line auctions
  • The used car department was also very active in the Honda CPO program
  • No matter the manufacturer, CPO vehicles play a key role in any dealership environment
  • All these efforts aided in maintaining a 1:1 used to new sales ratio during my tenure
  • I count myself lucky to have held this role, as I know it has been instrumental in my success to this day

  • My role as General Manager at Roswell Honda involved all aspects of dealership management both in variable and fixed operations
  • I oversaw the creation of critical processes for all departments leading to the awarding of Honda's prestigious President's Award
  • I worked hand in hand with the dealer principal and Honda Motor Company as we transitioned into a new dealership facility
  • With the additional allocation of new car inventory and the new facility, I was able to lead the dealership into setting new records in new vehicle sales, thus increasing our market share in the area
  • I was also key in increasing the used car volume of the dealership
  • We were able to achieve a 2:1 used to new car ratio by focusing on several key areas
  • First we fully participated in Honda's Certified Used Vehicle program
  • We expanded our resources for acquiring used cars, via live and online auctions
  • I instituted the use of software programs such as AAX and V-Auto to ensure that we maintained a competitive advantage in the online market
  • And finally, and most importantly, I forged a solid path into the sub-prime automotive market
  • Through the acquisition of key sub-prime lenders and targeted marketing we achieved substantial financial results
  • Overall I would say that my greatest accomplishment in this position was that I was successful in creating a highly cohesive team that worked with one goal in mind, to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction while maintaining a financially successful dealership operation

  • I started as a Sales Representative with the aspiration of moving into a management position
  • After six months on the sales staff I received my first management position as Finance Manager
  • In this position I totally changed the expectations of what role the F & I Department could play in maximizing the bottom line of the dealership
  • Through continuing education like TQFM (Toyota Quality Financial Mgmt) I quickly established the mark to be achieved by all other finance managers in the auto group
  • From this position I was moved to Finance Director overseeing all four stores in our group, eventually earning a position as New and Used Vehicle Sales Manager
  • This new position solidified my ability to maximize every car deal both in gross and CSI levels
  • To this day I believe my strong F & I education and experience are a cornerstone to all my Variable Operation successes
