- Inspect, verify and document quantifiable characteristics of finished goods by comparing against customer specifications and company quality standard governed by AS9100:D and ISO 9001:2015 .
- Provide regular updates to Management on quality metrics by communicating consistency problems or production deficiencies.
- Create and maintain several databases to track statistical data for capturing and recording customer data requirements.
- Train incoming personnel on equipment, software and quality control processes.
- Inspect products returning from outside processes for adherence to customer requirements and company quality standards such as, but not limited to, primers, paint, part marking and organic and inorganic finishes.
- Complete deviation forms and record findings of inspection process to submit to Quality Assurance for final approval and release.
- Perform standard inspection and acceptance of first article prior to production, as well random sampling inspection/support throughout the manufacturing process.
- Communicate with production team members about quality issues.
- Perform visual inspections and non-destructive tests where appropriate.
- Complete precise measurements using special tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gages and Coordinate Measurement Machines and note results for official records.
- Operate, program and maintain CMMs running both PCDMIS and Calypso inspection software.
