  • As a team leader I am responsible for assisting with the schedule, staffing assignments, daily huddle and daily RT report out. Training employees and new Team Leaders. Superuser for laboratory POC equipment, and Omnicell. Instructor for Skills Day and Midas Reports. Inventory management for the department, to include stocking supplies in conjunction with Central Supply. Maintaining all RT equipment to include monitoring PM and repairs partnering with Clinical Engineering. Expert in the management of complex airway patients utilizing tracheostomy tubes and laryngectomy tubes (Trachoe Twist, Portex, Shiley, Bivona) and the proper selection for the patient case. Assist physician with set up of equipment and bedside bronchoscopy and collection of specimens. Work with medical director of pulmonary for monthly trach/vent clinic. Complete rounding with the pulmonary fellows and pulmonary team daily.
