Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Branch, including the management of assets.

Responsibilities

Interviewing, hiring and training new team members; conducting performance appraisals, team member counseling and disciplinary actions, addressing complaints and resolving problems when possible. Communicates regularly with the Regional Operations Manager, and Human Resources when needed. Instills and maintains a customer service-oriented philosophy in all conduct to self and other team members. Prepares and submits annual operational budget for approval and develops plans for the efficient use of resources. Participates in planning personnel safety, ensures safety procedures are followed and makes recommendations regarding safety issues. Coordinates with customers and Branch management team to evaluate, promote and provide improved and expanded services in the area. Manage all aspects of warehouse inventory to include, part ordering,stock control and purchasing. Research parts including, vendor accessibility, pricing and lead times. Responsible for credit card purchase reporting. Responsible for safety training to include, stand up meetings and safety review of accidents and work place injuries.

Responsible for integration of new inventory management software

• Provided daily care for animals, ensuring health and wellbeing through proper feeding and sanitation practices.
• Monitored animal behavior, identifying signs of distress or illness to facilitate timely veterinary intervention.
• Trained new staff on kennel procedures and animal handling techniques to maintain safety standards.
• Implemented enrichment activities that enhanced animal welfare and reduced stress levels in shelter environment.

Contracted through ASPCA. Geberal facilities tasks included receiving and putting away freight. Janitorial clean up and transport of animals and people. As part of Daily Care, duties include dog and cat handling as well as farm animals. Cleaning of kennelsand feeding. As part of FIR (Field Investigation and Response) duties include daily care of animals as transportation of animals to secure locations. Other duties include building and demobilazation of temporary shelters and transport of materials to and from shelters. Worked closely with the Director of Logistics to schedule services needed to maintain temporary and brick and mortar shelters.

• Diagnosed and repaired residential appliances, ensuring optimal functionality for customers.
• Performed preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on various appliance brands.
• Maintained accurate inventory of parts and tools to streamline repair processes.
• Trained junior technicians on best practices for appliance repairs and customer service.

Managed all receiving dock operations. Handled all inbound freight shipments and warehousing of all product. Managed Delivery Operations, including routing, customer satisfaction, and quality control using both 3PL and employees. Managed outbound transportation and replenishment process to supported stores in Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and the Rio Grand Valley. Supervised over 20 employees including Forklift Operators, Supervisors, Inventory Control Clerks, and Leads. Managed the Return to Vendor and Distressed Goods processing, including analysis and reporting on the sources of distressed goods to reduce amount of warehouse damage, delivery damage, and freight damage while identifying customer abuse. Provided Warehouse and Logistical support to new store openings throughout Texas and Oklahoma. Part of the implementation team to switch from AS/400 Warehouse Management System to new WMS. Trained employees for Forklift certification. Traveled to multiple locations to train personnel on Standard Operating Procedures. Assisted in set up and lay out of new store openings as well as distribution centers. Worked with multiple vendors to coordinate set up of assigned duties. Visually inspected warehouse for safety compliance. Held monthly safety meetings to discuss possible issues as well as fellow employee concerns. Attended Safety Committee meetings when called upon from our corporate office.
