This position was in a PCU unit in the time period of a high volume of COVID-19 patients, as well as normal patient flow of the hospital. I was floated all around the hospital as needed.

• Provided skilled, timely and level-headed care in a PCU unit to critically-ill patients as the patient population was heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a very high-stress position with staff woking constant overtime with higher than normal patient to nurse ratios.

• Documented treatments delivered, medications and IVs administered, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• I worked on a Neuro/PCU unit which focused on strokes, CVAs and the like diagnosis. Most of the COVID-19 patients were care for on a different unit, the pandemic had it's impact with staff and supply shortages.

• After graduating college as a nurse, I was hired by Centura Health at the St. Francis Hospital location, where my nursing This position provided the foundational training and experience as a nurse in a hospital setting. I worked within the Penrose system, gaining experience and skills in a variety of settings. I continued to work to increase my knowledge and skills to better understand nursing from different perspectives leadership role.
