Summary

I am an aspiring educator currently studying at UC Davis to earn my teaching credential and Master's Degree. My specialty is in English literature. I have a deep love for reading, and hope to foster a similar passion for the written word in my students and colleagues. The ability to read, write, and interpret text is one of the most fundamental skills one can possess in our information-based society, and with the rise of generative AI I believe the skills to sift through potentially unreliable information and develop a unique writing voice are more important than ever. I also have five years of experience as a summer camp counselor, and love the outdoors.
