My job entailed counseling and educating patient about their upcoming surgeries or procedures. I obtained a full health assessment and medication reconciliation on each patient. I managed the preadmission patient charts by obtaining the required paperwork such as orders, history and physical, consents, EKG, CXR and labs. I consulted the doctors as needed.

• My entire 13 plus years were spent working on the renal floor at the hospital. The patients were critical and often with multi-system failures. The complexity of care has giving me a strong foundation of nursing expertise.
