Detail and create assignments for staff to meet and exceed hotel aesthetic and guest expectations with the help of Occupancy Rate Reports, guest and management requests.
  • Create and manage hotel engineering budgets and maintain daily reports required by General Manager. Manage all purchase orders and purchasing for the dept. Maintain accurate accounting of all purchasers for the building's maintenance and daily mechanical repairs.
  • Responsible for daily preventive maintenance reports of HVAC cooling towers and integral closed loop compact Genesis propane boilers; along with closed-loop hot water system for laundry, kitchen and guest bathroom purposes. Maintain, repair or replace water pumps, burner elements on gas heaters. Diagnose or replace faulty heat pumps in 155 hotel suites, restaurant and guest lobby. Diagnose or repair faulty and aging electric water heaters used in hotel staff dept. levels. Diagnose, repair or replace bathroom and kitchen plumbing. Diagnose, repair any plumbing leaks with closed-loop domestic hot water system. Replace any faulty pvc/copper tubing and connections.
  • Repair or replace all matter of electrical 120 and 277 volt interior and exterior lighting fixtures. Replace motors and belts. Diagnose, repair or replace guest kitchen appliances for 105 hotel suites. Maintain or repair kitchen cabinets, carpeting, wood flooring, drywall, wall paper, paint and furniture in hotel suites. Maintain a high aesthetic level for all 155 hotel suites and ensure the guest's luxury expectations are met at all times.

  • Experienced electrician and responsible for electrical wiring and outlet installations. Knowledgeable and experienced in single and three phase electrical systems. Responsible for installing telecommunication ports, data ports for new boutiques and retrofit locations throughout the store along with audio/visual wiring and wall jacks.
  • Responsible for the purchasing and installation of energy efficient and automated lighting systems and fixtures. Knowledgeable in compact fluorescent, metal halide, high pressure sodium, incandescent lamps and fixtures. Directed purchase of fixtures in reference to lumens, average life, lamp base and dimensions of lamps, also fixture required clearance and code specifications.
  • Experienced carpenter, plumber and painter. Responsible for “as built” furniture and fixture retro-fit, wiring and installation. Troubleshoot plumbing system problems and install new commercial grade restroom fixtures. Imaginatively retrofit cabinetry, P.O.S. stands and interiors throughout store.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC and boiler systems; remedy any situation outside of contractual maintenance arrangements made at the corporate level with outside contractors. Responsible for contractors with annual contracts to maintain facilities’ equipment and site.
  • Prioritize all preventive maintenance issues in regards to immediate budget constraints and long-term budgetary plans.
  • Attend to all and any exterior site problems. Responsible for maintaining water sprinkler system and any landscaping issues.
