Jelani Dula

New education professional with experience serving as a daily building substitute in which one reports to and fills assignments daily at the same school. Managed many academic and school responsibilities including teaching pre-kindergarten up to fifth grade in language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science; served many times as a paraprofessional and special educator; monitored recess and lunch; and cultivated strong relationships with many of the students.

New teacher who was previously a software engineer seeking to pursue a career in teaching to equip the next generation with the educational tools for lifelong success and to uplift and encourage them to a healthy lifestyle emotionally, mentally, relationally, and professionally. Looking to use a project-based approach to learning derived from past engineering experiences to foster critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, and to train students how to learn to prepare them for inevitable lifelong learning.
