
United States active duty and reserve Navy Veteran, completed four and a half years of active service with honorable discharge. Continued as a reservist and now have 7 years of total service (ongoing). During time in the Navy was responsible for O level maintenance on the C-2A and E-2D aircraft engines. Qualified by the Department Of Labor for aviation power plant technician and general aviation mechanic apprenticeship and journeyman. Qualified by the FAA as a licensed Power plant Mechanic. Currently employed with SAFRAN as an engineering technician responsible for development and total build of new test cells, updates and upkeep of the other test cells and their electrical and mechanical components. Experience with Wiring systems and troubleshooting, soldering, harness’s, operating Consoles, electrical schematics, oil & hydro mechanical system experience. Graduated in 2021 from Hillsborough Community College with an Associates of Arts degree. Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from USF (3.56 Cumulative GPA).
During 2019 naval deployment was placed in the position of night shift power plant supervisor due to troubleshooting experience and expertise on the C-2A aircraft Lead 122 minor fixes to aircraft discrepancies, six propeller removal & installations, and four engine removal & installations Comprising a total of 1,613 total maintenance hours, with a 986% mission completeness rate on two near 40 year old aircraft
