Ensure delivery and operational targets are met by overseeing daily management activities, monitoring personnel, and equipment utilization based on customer forecasts for ongoing mass production needs, as well as new projects
Lead the production planning process to align manufacturing schedules with customer orders and inventory levels, while reviewing cycle times and managing delivery planning to ensure on-time order fulfillment, including inventory level and turnover of materials monitoring; Reassuring production plan is correctly released through shop order to the production lines using MES
Daily check-up on production plan utilization, root cause analysis and creation of action plans
Building strong relationship with interested parties, communication with suppliers, customers, transportation and customs clearance agents, as well as intercompany departments in order to provide necessary results of material department
Tracking supply chain KPI's (on time delivery, behind schedule, regular and premium transport costs, delivery discrepancy, wrong labeling/packaging, SCM errors and SCM costs)
Returnable packaging management implementation (new development between different departments); Internal packaging management oversight together with project management, giving insights of possible improvement
Ensure the availability of materials and components for uninterrupted production processes (avoiding yard hods and stop ships)
Optimize warehouse operations to maximize space utilization, warehouse management according to FIFO standard, 6S, material identification, allocation of products, streamline material handling, creating material flow and ensure traceability
Inventory counting analysis, with emphasizes on warehouse activities, efficiency and accuracy
Actively engaged in solving claims from customers, internal claims, claims to suppliers, as well as communication with project development team in sharing ideas about alternative solutions - in case alert from supplier such as, but not limited to: quality issues, delivery delays from suppliers, extraordinary situations that influence arrival of raw material on time, defective raw material arrival… advise all interested parties, analyze risk to production plan utilization/purchasing (material) plan and find a way how to proceed and handle situation not affecting production and delivery to the customer
Manage information projects, major projects, and other temporary assignments, including the operation and maintenance of the SAP system, ensuring data authenticity and validity, in order to give more accurate data about delivery
Navigate the complexities of logistics in a manufacturing context, driving improvements across systems and processes, and fostering a culture of continuous development and efficiency; continuous improvement of supply chain processes, waste walk elimination through utilization of EDI protocol usage, wherever is possible within supply chain, in order to speed up processes and avoid human errors
