PHILOSOPHY
I believe that every child—regardless of ability—deserves access to a high-quality, inclusive education that nurtures their strengths, supports their needs, and empowers them to reach their fullest potential. My role as a special education teacher is to advocate for equity, create safe and responsive learning environments, and implement evidence-based practices that honor the diverse ways students learn.
I view collaboration—with families, general educators, and specialists—as essential to building cohesive support systems. I believe in using data to inform instruction, promote student voice and independence, and foster growth academically, socially, and emotionally. With high expectations and compassionate teaching, I strive to cultivate resilient, confident learners who are equipped for lifelong success.
