Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
Ensure patients are comfortably prepared for treatment sessions, including explaining procedures, addressing any concerns or questions, and assisting with any necessary preparations to ensure a smooth and efficient treatment experience.
Skillfully administer EECP Therapy sessions according to established protocols and guidelines.
Assist Clinic Director with patient examinations.
Prepare exam/treatment rooms; select, setup, sterilize, and maintain medical supplies and equipment for procedures
Prepare and administer injections, change dressings, and facilitate wound management under providers orders
Collect blood, tissue, and other laboratory specimens through routine in-house testing procedures, and analyze and prepare for testing, log results, and perform lab call-backs
Document basic patient care and procedures, utilizing appropriate forms and electronic medical records
Performs point-of-care laboratory tests, EKGs as ordered or indicated, suture/staple removal, dressing changes, and other patient care activities
Collect and documents vital signs, histories, and screenings
Authorize prescription refills as directed
Prepare patients, room, and supplies for visits or examinations
Perform phlebotomy and correctly processes specimens
