Jenin Alaiwat

My name is Jenin Alaiwat and I am a fourth year college student at the University of Michigan - Dearborn. I am aiming to receive my elementary education certification. I believe I am a team player who prioritizes care, compassion, and hard work with any situation I am faced with. I value the importance of communication and understanding and hope to use them in any teaching experience I get the opportunity to be a part of. I aim to grow more every day in a university that will give me the resources to do so and in the facilities and schools I get to work in.

• Midvale Pre - School, 2017, 2018, During the day, I would assist Midvale teachers in taking care of the class. Some tasks I would partake in included, playing with the students, assisting in preparing snacks and lunches, and introducing new curriculum. I learned to work with a team of teachers while also being able to connect with the students.
• Northline Women's Health Center, 2016, 2019, During office hours, I would go to the front of the office and help organize and document patient files and billing statements. I was able to learn organizational and social skills.
