  • Act as general counsel for five Global Payments software subsidiaries: TouchNet Information Systems, Inc., Paylease, LLC d/b/a Zego, Educational Computer Systems, Inc., Heartland School Solutions, and Greater Giving
  • Lead a team of four professionals (two attorneys and two compliance managers)
  • Provide business-focused legal guidance to an array of internal stakeholders on all facets of each business, including customer and vendor contracts, business strategy and growth, partner relationships, product design, go to market efforts, and customer disputes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organizations to deliver pragmatic solutions – I am not the department of “no” – I am the department of “how.” Support business teams, including software development teams, on all aspects of new product launches: disclosures, privacy notices, user terms, privacy by design, best practices for consumer facing transactions
  • In this capacity, I review development and work closely with software engineers to ensure legal compliance in software flow
