• Teach various graduate level courses in the areas of special education assessment, curriculum, instructional methods, speech-hearing science and communication.
• Instructor for special education coursework in the CCSD Alternative Licensure programs, particularly for paraprofessionals seeking licensure.
• Instructor for new student teachers earning their Intellectual Disabilities endorsement.
• Team member for curriculum development grant funded by the state of Nevada for students with severe-profound disabilities.
• Promote high ethical standards of practice as outlined by the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) for special education prospects i Clark and Washoe school districts.
• Collaborate with department colleagues on various projects and initiatives related to diversity and inclusion.

• Teach students in grades 9-12 and Ungraded students in a Life Skills program.
• Promote a positive learning environment through the use of differentiated instruction and individualized support for diverse learners.
