I manage the product lifecycle and customer relationship for a fashion jewelry manufacturer.

My customers include: Kohls, Bealls, Belk, Boscov's, Windsor Store, Roller Rabbit, Burlington Coat Factory and Party City.


Day to day tasks include:


Product development:

Sending specs for costing, negotiating and approving cost, delegating styles to each factory, sending original samples/components, approving OC's and carding, ,communicating with factories in the logs throughout the PD process, approving molds/components receiving PP's/TOP's for approval and sending to the customer, sourcing for new development

Shipping & Logistics:

Making sure allocations are on time from customers

Keeping shipping updated on any PO changes or anticipated delays with PP approval, ensuring goods are delivered on time and routed accordingly

Troubleshooting issues with correct cards and tickets/PO extensions/push outs/cancellations

Design:

Collaborate with design on new development, requesting artwork, specs and CAD's

Customer:

Creating line sheets, cost sheets and order forms for the customer

Receiving and processing PO's,

Answering all customer inquiries including delivery dates, requests for product images, sample requests, PO extensions or revisions, new development requests

Attend market meetings with merchandising to showcase new groups for the season

Manage accounts, such as Stephanie Gottlieb & Alison Lou as well as major jewelers across the country for a fine jewelry wholesaler. I handle all product inquiries, requests, orders and special makeups. 

Maintain the memo program, which is the distribution of product among accounts to maximize sales. This includes invoicing, replenishing sold, moving product and analyzing sales trends. 

I worked closely with product development on custom orders collaborating to ensure exact customer specifications and timelines are met.

I assisted the senior product development manager to run cut and sew intimates for licensed brands Laura Ashley, Adrienne Vitaddini & Delta Burke for TJMaxx, Marshalls and Ross Stores.

I managed the product development process from CAD to TOP, working with factories on color standards, lab dips, commenting on PP's and TOP's, deliveries & MOQ's. i worked with their PLM system filemaker to create core item profiles, SKU's and place PO's while helping to maintain the showroom for sales.
