Two-part internship

• BMC Roundhouse; a CSS clinic providing housing and treatment for people suffering from homelessness and addiction. On this site I assisted Harm Reductionists and nurses with hourly rounds, provided education on resources and learned de-escalation techniques.
• BMC Brockton Behavior Health Center; an acute psychiatric facility that provides clinical stabilization services to people with mental illness or substance use disorders. On this site I interned with the Executive Director and Clinical Director prior to the opening of the facility. I determined the necessary trainings required for onboarding employees, contacted programs to facilitate these trainings and organized a complete schedule for newly hired employees.

• Hockey clinic promoting females in hockey (all ages).
• Constructed and ran private, semi-private, and group lessons.
• Assisted with registration and overall program functioning.

• Answered customer questions about hours, seating, and menu information.
• Supported servers, food runners, and bussers with keeping dining area ready for every guest.

• Performed therapeutic massage, hot-cold packs placement, or electrical stimulation under direction of physical therapist.
• Set up equipment ahead of treatments to maintain smooth appointment schedules.
• Monitored patient progress and reported changes to physical therapist and recorded information into computer systems.
