My goal for Sterile Processing is to gain more knowledge with sterilizing the instruments in the proper way and to gain knowledge from the surgeons and the surgical technologist on how the instruments are being used in the OR. I believe if you know and an instrument is being used on the patient it gives you the well power and courage to do your job because you know what the goal is for decontaminating the instruments. A Sterile Processing tech plays a big role with the staff and surgeon in the OR because without us the OR can't operate.
