Accomplishments


  • Part of our school's Character Education Committee. We created and facilitate implementation of a school-wide program based around the SEL competencies.
  • Serve as Science Coordinator for our school. I develop and facilitate numerous S.T.E.A.M related learning opportunities for the entire school. I've also created a garden in which the entire school helped to create and maintain. I've introduced an whole school unit of study on the Monarch butterfly.
  • Created partnerships with colleagues in older grades to foster relationships between older and Preschool students. This not only encourages a sense of community, but helps build important social/emotional skills.
  • Nominated for teacher of the year by colleagues.
