Responsible for providing patient care to critically ill neonates on various respiratory support devices such as oscillators, jet ventilators, mechanical ventilators, SIPAP, NCPAP, bubble cpap, and nasal cannula. I also provide thorough assessments, administering medications, and obtaining laboratory specimens. I initiate and maintain peripheral intravenous lines, and maintaining central lines. I perform blood and blood product transfusions. I document nursing intervention and patient and family responses accurately in compliance with hospital policies. I am skilled as an advocate for patients while collaborating with other health care team members and patient families.

Provided patient care to Postpartum/Newborn Nursery patients in various hospitals throughout the country. Responsible for providing assessments, administering medications, documentation, as well as support and education of newborn care to parents.
