Prior work history to EMS includes: Assistant Store manager and loss prevention for various retails.

I was an assistance store manager for Hot Topic, Edible Arrangements and Dollar Tree. Skills included in these jobs were stocking, merchandising, following planograms, hiring and developing team members, face to face customer service as well as over the phone and email communications with customers, order taking and placing and suggesting products to customers.

I also have Loss Prevention experience with Sears, Rite Aid and Safeway. This included an unarmed DPSST certification that can be easily obtained again if needed. These jobs allowed me to work in quickly changing situations that required de-escalation skills and discreet handling of shoplifter apprehension. I was able to work solo as well as in a team. This included visual surveillance and use of CCTV. I became proficient in writing reports and working well with local law enforcement personnel.
