With over 20 years of experience my skills in operating advanced Siemens MRI equipment have been finely honed. I directly oversee 4 MRI scanners and over 20 MR Technologists. I consult, collaborate and support over 15 MR scanners and over 50 technologists throughout the organization. I have a proven track record in onboarding and training new staff, delivering comprehensive MR educational programs, and maintaining ACR QA programs and accreditation. My MR Safety Officer Certification in 2018 from the American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety demonstrates my dedication to ensuring safety. Collaborating closely with radiologists, I have played a pivotal role in driving significant improvements in image quality and protocol development. As I pursue new and challenging opportunities, I am determined to leverage my expertise while maintaining the highest standards of image quality, patient care, and MR safety.

MRSO Program
Working directly with MRMD to establish an system-wide MRSO program. The mission of the BHSF MRSO program is to promote MRI safety by providing education, training, and guidance to healthcare professionals involved in MRI procedures. The vision of the program is to ensure that all MRI procedures are conducted safely, and that patients and staff are protected from potential risks.
Protocol Optimization & Support
Work directly with MRMD and Section Chief Radiologists to consistently develop and disseminate new MR protocols and procedures. Assist other entities in protocol optimization and troubleshooting when needed.
Virtual Cockpit
To establish a centralized hub for remote MRI scanning support, enhance operational efficiency, improve patient care, and streamline communication among our facilities, provide real-time tech support staff to diagnose issues and provide guidance to onsite personnel from a remote location.
Resource Page for MR Technologists
Developed and maintain an online Resource Page accessible to all MR Technologists within the organization. Contains updated content on MR Policies, Protocols, and Procedures to ensure compliance and standardization. Provides valuable resources on MR Safety, technical tips, and best practices to support continuous professional development and enhance patient care.
Standardization of Pre-MRI Screening Form
Led the initiative to optimize and standardize the MRI Pre-Screening form across the entire organization, ensuring that all patients are subject to consistent and rigorous MR safety protocols.
Full Body MRI
Led the development of the Protocol and Technical workflow for the development of the Full Body MRI program being offered through Executive Health. Created and conducted training sessions for the technologists who will be responsible for performing patient scans as part of the new Full Body MRI program.
Deep Resolve
Led the testing and reduce MR scan time while improving or maintaining image quality. Deep Resolve Trial was successfully conducted at our site. Protocol Optimization is ongoing our 3 scanners. All future installs are slated to have Deep Resolve included in the initial purchase.
Medtronic Tablet Programming
Led the initiative to reduce turnaround times and extend service hours for performing MRIs on Medtronic pacemaker patients. All South hospitals have been trained and are now successfully utilizing this new technology.
