Teaching prospective CNA testing candidates theory and skills to help them to achieve their goal of passing the NC Certified Nursing Assistant Exam. This includes lecture, learning skills and a clinical experience.

Responsible for overseeing the care for approximately 600 students. Tasks include: Caring for students that have health care needs i.e. allergies, asthma, and diabetes, Developing care plans for students that have special health care needs while at school, maintaining medication orders and medications that are given during school hours, training staff on how to give emergency medications and caring for students that have health needs, maintaining immunization and health records for each student.

• Administered medications via oral, IV, and intramuscular injections and monitored responses.
• Utilized critical thinking skills to prioritize nursing interventions based on patients'' acuity levels and individual needs.
• Conducted thorough patient assessments to identify changes in condition, promptly notifying physicians and initiating appropriate interventions when necessary.
• Administered medications safely according to established guidelines while closely monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions requiring intervention.
