Child Welfare Services-searched for placements for foster children in group homes, foster family agencies and in foster family homes. Conducted home assessments and background checks for relatives in order to be approved for placement. Conducted home assessments, background checks, and home studies to approve individuals and families as a foster family home. Under the Resource Family Approval Process I Conducted home assessments and completed adoption home studies for relative and non related individuals and families.

Adult Protective Services-I conducted investigations of elder and dependent adult abuse. I referred clients to various community services for food, clothing, housing, veteran services, health insurance assistance, in home supportive services, and other services needed. I also worked with clients who qualified for the Home Safe program which assisted individuals to safely remain in their home or locate alternative housing. I worked with many organizations such as law enforcement agencies, Commission on Aging, The Public Guardians Office, local hospitals, the Veterans office and other agencies as needed. I also assisted with food distribution and elder community events in the community.
