Maker & Entrepreneur

Cargo Cult + (Re)Make/(Re)Model

Employee Experience Programs Lead

Salesforce
07.2014 - 10.2020
  • Atlanta Hub was consistently ranked #1 in employee satisfaction during my tenure. I was considered the de facto leader and acted as the lifeline between executives and the employee pulse.
  • Atlanta comprised 3% of Salesforce's 65000 employees but led the way as the "model office" for employee engagement with innovative programs and events that garnered accolades from company execs and popular initiatives that were later adopted companywide.

Remote Employee Experience Program Architect & Mgr

Salesforce
05.2018 - 10.2020
  • Built an employee engagement program from the ground up for remote workers (20% of global employee base). As a result, employee satisfaction scores skyrocketed from the lowest to the highest companywide (tied with Atlanta Hub).
  • Pivoted during COVID to reimagine "Bring Your Kids to Work Day" as a full week of global all-remote programming involving dozens of volunteer presenters and tens of thousands of employees. The program was lauded by the CEO for sparking unprecedented engagement at a critical juncture.

Vibe Manager

Salesforce
07.2013 - 07.2014
  • Managed a team to provide workplace services and to assist with operational support while scaling and growing our culture to ensure employee engagement and morale stayed high through two major acquisitions and several restructurings.
  • Worked with Real Estate team to oversee a full buildout of our office space.
  • Innovated initiatives at the local level, such as the New Hire Onboarding (NHO) program, that were later expanded into official programs and adopted companywide.

Head of Employee Experience

Pardot
03.2010 - 07.2013
  • Built a strong, vibrant company culture that proved to be the "secret sauce" to our success, including a 94% employee retention rate
  • As a founding member (Pardot's 9th employee), my contributions fundamentally shaped our culture from early startup seed stage through two acquisitions and finally a reorg into the Salesforce ecosystem. Through it all, our culture was the sole constant that people looked to for reassurance.

Community Manager

Pardot
02.2009 - 07.2013
  • Welcomed employees, customers, and visitors into our space, showcasing our unique culture front and center while providing outstanding anticipatory service.
  • Grew a thriving workplace that later became the gold standard post-acquisition by expertly balancing the demands of facilities management, organizational operations, company culture, employee experience, and community outreach.
  • Facilities management involved planning meetings and workshops, booking conference rooms and event spaces, managing executive calendars, making travel arrangements, coordinating workplace services (mail, IT provisioning, expense reports, maintenance tickets, vendor relations, etc.), ordering swag, stocking snacks and drinks, giving office tours, and performing community outreach.
