Accurate Assessment and timely documentation of critically ill and post surgical patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. Primary care nursing provided with a patient load of 2-3 patients. Provided staffing and support to hospital's only in patient 18 bed medical surgical unit, overseeing approximately 20 staff. Effectively managed unit budget, completing staff payroll, ordering supplies, providing verbal and written employee evaluations. Reviewed and audited charts for compliancy.

Independently functioned as the sole nurse in a 6 bed Emergency Department supported with one physician and one technician. Provided rapid and accurate assessments with emergent interventions.

Additionally functioned as Night shift nursing supervisor ensuring appropriate staffing to Medical Surgical Unit and adjacent nursing home. Responded to and led in patient and nursing home resident emergencies. Facilitated rapid transfers of emergent patients to facilities with higher level of care.
