Summary

Confident and capable educator within the Houston ISD for 21 years and Tomball ISD for 6 years. I have held classroom positions as both a General Education Teacher and Special Education Teacher. Along with teaching I have held a variety of other roles while working in HISD; I have had the experience of being the Pre-K and Kindergarten Grade Level Chair and Move It Math Coordinator at C. Martinez E.S., Dyslexia Contact Person at Seguin E.S., and Special Education Department Chair and SDMC committee member at Golfcrest E.S. I also worked on curriculum while writing a guidebook for HISD summer school for Dyslexia Intervention for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. To highlight the Assistive technology in my PSI classroom at Golfcrest E.S. I presented at Region IV during the Texas Assistive Technology Conference with a team from HISD for 2 years.
