- Lead and implement site-wide cross-functional continuous improvement projects: The Missing Label initiative was a compliance project focused to standardize reintroduction and reject management practices across packaging lines site wide.
- The Cleaner Replenishment Project focused on streamlining the order, receipt, storage and use of cleaning and sanitizing agents required for manufacturing; generating a green dollar savings of $15K.
- Facilitated and advocated lean and six sigma methodologies through instruction of a 2-day training course. Mentored employees who have completed classroom training through project completion. Coached mentees have collectively generated more than $86K blue dollar savings.
- Managed site critical projects to support internal and third-party timeline adherence: The Zanchetta to Fluid Bed effort focused on the compliant transition of granulation technology within internal posed timelines. A total of 6 different product skus were released to market since project inheritance, safeguarding more than $17M in net sales revenue.
- The goal of the Label Transition Project was to replace the Boehringer Ingelheim name and logo with West-Ward credentials on all printed packaging components. This included a total of 500+ printed components (i.e. labels, folding cartons etc.), where destructions costs were minimized to less than $1M, and a cost avoidance of $3.5M was achieved for timeline adherence.
